Enoch Clothing

Greetings from ENOCH Clothing / Seventh Generation*** Enoch Clothing was started back sometime in 2002, by Kirk Theis (Young Life Leader/ ASU Student / Mohawk Guy). ASU's Devils quickly embraced the concept and what Enoch Clothing stood for as a brand. And most of them who bought shirts, did so because they were cool. Since then, Kirk's semi-mohawk brother, Carter, from Los Angeles has been running the show. The company was moved to Portland, OR so Carter could snowboard and Kirk could not do anything. Kirk's band hAndcrAfted was one of the first big supporters of Enoch Clothing and one of the reason's Enoch is involved with great known and unknown bands.
Who we Are
We say seventh generation because 7 is the Biblical number of completion. There are seven colors in the rainbow surrounding God's thrown, seven days in a week in which God created the heavens and earth, etc. What's cool is that Enoch was born in the seventh generation of mankind after Adam. This can't be an accident, because it's specifically mentioned twice in the Bible. He and God were good friends way back in the day. Enoch was a normal guy . He didn't fill up a boat with animals or hide naked with his wife in a garden. Scripture simply says Enoch walked with God AND pleased God. Then he got into Heaven "V.I.P. Style" without experiencing death. You can read about Enoch's life only in Genesis 5: 21-24, Hebrews 11: 5-6 and Jude 1: 14-16.
So, Christianity gets a bad rap in the media these days. But Enoch Clothing was formed to let you know there is a new level of Christ followers on the rise. There is a new level of music on the rise that doesn't "suck." David Tamaoka from the band Pennylane said it best: A common misconception about Christianity is that "it's for 'good' people. Christians are often labeled as people who are supposed to be flawless. We are just humans, we have our hang ups and our strengths. But that's not what it's about. Christianity is about the perfect love of God, given to silly, shallow, messed up humans. The response to that love in reflecting it is what Christianity is really about."
Enoch clothing is dedicated, but will never be mainstream. We work on a uniquely stylish brand encouraging consumers to know Jesus Christ while maintaining cultural relevancy.
