Enoch Magazine traveled to Ventura CA for the Vans Warped Tour 2012 to interview hardcore band For Today. Singer Mattie Montgomery and guitarist Ryan Leitru showed up to discuss: where they are musically, living in different states, and their process for writing music. However, after witnessing Mattie preaching to the crowd about God during their set, Enoch Magazine quickly turned to the topic of “Spirituality.” Not knowing their response, (but having a pretty good idea), Nate Smith tackles the question of Angelic and demonic imagery on t-shirts and in hardcore music culture. He asks Mattie and Ryan if they believe in angles and demons. Mattie responds by saying he “believes int he the spirit realm, because it’s real.”
