Enoch Magazine moves to Skid Row Los Angeles and documents a group of kids choosing to sleep with the homeless on Thanksgiving Eve. In this video you can see what Skid row looks like at night, and how many people are sleeping on the street. The participants of “Camp Jesus,” express their thoughts on what it’s like to be homeless. Later that evening/morning, the team discovers Union Rescue Mission’s Thanksgiving feast. Andy Bales (URM’s CEO) is discovered deep frying 200 turkeys for their Thanksgiving celebration the next day. “Camp Jesus” is an all night event where the love of Christ shines till dawn.
I am not what most would call a religious man in many ways but I do like this video and spend a bit of time on skid row myself.
